Airlines could not find hotels for the people , they did not help people because their shifts were over , they did not permit to have camera to show the situation.

"THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE COME ACROSS IN MY LIFE!!! We will never fly with Aegean again! Last year, they changed the dates of our flight and did not even bother to inform us. It is coincidence (and maybe intuition) that I checked the week prior to flying to find out that the flight on Saturday was cancelled. We were told by their customer service they could do nothing about it and we had to fly the day before (on which day we had another flight) – and the most terrifying, that we had to pay for the flights even though it was their error! After a long battle, we managed to get the flights changed, although they charged us admin fees. This year, we decide to give them another chance, simply because Stansted is close to where we live. The on-line booking went “pear-shaped” and booked 2 flights on my husbands name (same person had 2 flights on same day and time) rather than one flight for him and one for me. We tried to explain this to Aegean and they said it was our error and we had to buy another flight. I just wanted to scream!!! The lady at the desk was extremely rude and horrible! If you want piece of mind, never fly with this airline – it may seem cheaper than Olympic but it is a complete headache and, obviously, much more expensive, as the likelihood is you will buy another flight. I will ensure my friends/relatives will NEVER use this airline again!!! Please spread the word about their terrible customer service!!!"

I ordered tickets for November 4, 2010 from Chios to Athens in July. I called on Nov 2nd to confirm and Aegean said the flight was on schedule with no issues. Nov 4th I go to the airport, there was no plane to Athens with Aegean Airlines! They told me that flight was cancelled from March but I bought the tickets in JULY! I spoke with Aegean and they blamed travel agency’s. Aegean did not refund my money nor did they take responsibility for anything. I had to buy tickets from Olympic airlines last minute costing me a lot of money, another bunch of crooks. Olympic knew I was in a bind and charged me the highest rate possible. I am out money and no one takes responsibility. It is instances like this where I am very ashamed at my homeland and their business practices. I am fortunate enough that I was able to afford the new highly overpriced tickets, I also speak the language. What about tourists or someone who can’t afford to buy alternate tickets?

Try to help a Greek Company , it will cost you time - money and dignity.

This is the result of trying to support a Greek air-flight company.
So better think twice before entering in this situation.
